Recent activities of Galiceños of Suwannee include Galiceño Horses at the South Carolina Equine Expo in Camden, SC (breed exhibit) and Pendleton, SC; Parade of Breeds at Red Hills Horse Trials, Tallahassee, FL; Mahan Farms (Tallahassee); English and Western showmanship at Leon County Horseman's Association Open Shows (Tallahassee, FL); "Ride and Jam" at Oaks Equestrian Center, Lake City, FL; Horse of the Americas meeting in Dayton, Tennessee; Mission San Luis, showing the original Colonial Spanish Horses in authentic 1704 Spanish Costume (Tallahassee, FL); Mother Earth News Fair near Asheville, North Carolina, Belton, Texas, West Bend, Wisconsin, Seven Springs, PA.,Topeka, Kansas, and Burlington, Vermont, exhibiting our unique and Critically Endangered Heritage Breed of horse  We often give talks on DeSoto and the history of horses in the Americas at several local locations including Camp Weed and Cerveny Conference Center in Live Oak, FL, as well as events in Woodville and Tallahassee, Florida.
